    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce parts used to obtain a prescribed light distribution pattern, and to improve efficiency of the light of a light source device by forming the shape of the output end of a core material of a single optical fiber composed of the core material in a shape to obtain a prescribed light distribution pattern. SOLUTION: The light from a light source of a light source device 1 is made incident on the incident end of a core material of a single optical fiber 2 to radiated the front of a vehicle in a prescribed low light distribution pattern P-1 through a lens 60 after being emitted outside from the output end 24 of the core material. At this time, since the shape of the output end 24 is formed in a shape to obtain the light distribution pattern P-1, the light emitted from the output end 24 is radiated as it is to the front of the vehicle in the light distribution pattern P-1. Therefore, a part to obtain the light distribution pattern P-1, for example, a part such as a reflector and a shade is obviated, so that the light from a light source can be utilized as it is without shielding it.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain various light distributions, and improve visibility by providing a light distribution converting belt which is formed of a transparent member so as to cover at least a part of a reflecting mirror and has plural optical characteristic different parts, and freely selecting the optical characteristic different parts to a front face of the reflecting mirror. SOLUTION: A light distribution converting belt 6 is arranged inside a box body formed of a lens 4 and a housing 5 so as to cover an almost upper half part of a reflecting mirror 3, and is positioned on a front face of the reflecting mirror 3 by selecting either of an undiffusive auxiliary cut part, a low diffusive auxiliary cut part and a high diffusive auxiliary cut part by a driving part 7 such as a motor. When the undiffusive auxiliary cut part covers an upper half part of the reflecting mirror 3, the reflected light of the reflecting mirror 3 is made incident still in its shape on the lens 4, and the spot lower light distribution having the narrowest lateral irradiation width is obtained. In the case of the low and high diffusive auxiliary cut parts, the intermediate low light distribution suitable for travel of a suburban district and the wide angle low light distribution suitable for travel of an urban district can be obtained.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sufficiently sense of depth when observing the reflecting surface of a reflector through a lens in a marker light provided with a step reflector. SOLUTION: A reflecting surface 16a of a reflector 16 is divided into a lower reflecting area 16a1 and an upper reflecting area 16a2, by dividing at a pair of dividing lings BL which extending from its optical axis Ax in a truncated chevron shape. The lower reflecting area 16a1 is divided and formed into a plurality of zonal reflecting surface elements 16s1 which extend in a pattern of lateral stripes, and the upper reflecting area 16a2 is divided and formed into a plurality of zonal reflecting surface elements 16s2 which extend in a pattern of vertical stripes. Widths D1, D2 of the reflecting surface elements 16s1, 16s2 are set so that they become gradually wider the farther apart they are from the optical axis Ax. In according with the principle of perspective, the lower reflecting area 16a1 appears to be a road route, a floor surface, etc., extending from in front to a distant position, and the upper reflecting area 16a2 appears to be roadside trees, a wall surface, etc., extending from in front to a distant position. Therefore, the reflecting surface 16a appears as if it is much deeper than an actual depth dimension.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular headlight which can show the individuality of a vehicle even at night lighting. SOLUTION: In a conventional vehicular headlight 1 which comprises a light- distribution forming lens 4 consisting of a plurality of segmented parts, wherein these segmented parts are at least tow parts having different transmittance as a low-transmittance part 4a and a high-transmittance part 4b, and a cover lens 5 which is expected to serve to exhibit individuality of a vehicle in a design aspect, however at night the cover lens 5 itself is hard to be recognized and therefore fails to exhibit the individuality; while, in the present invention, the low-transmittance part 4a and the high-transmittance part 4b are constituted so that a specific appearance which is composed of characters and/or designed patterns with the low-transmittance parts 4b and the high-transmittance parts 4b is recognizable, and the individuality of the vehicle can be shown even at night lighting.
