    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reaction sensitivity for vertical movement of a float of opening and closing of a valve element by increasing push-up force and pressing force due to the float to surely open and close the valve element so as to smoothly discharge a gas.SOLUTION: A valve body 1 includes a space 8, a discharge opening 2 in an upper end, and forms a valve seat 3 on a lower side of the discharge opening 2. A valve is opened and closed by allowing a fluororesin globular valve element 4 to stick and withdraw on and from the valve seat 3. The float 15 descends together with descent of a liquid surface, an arm 9 rotates around a stem 7, the valve element 4 separates from the valve seat 3 by pulling down a connecting rod 5, and the gas in a container 11 is discharged to the outside from the discharge opening 2. The weight or buoyancy of the float 15 is increased with a principle of a lever to be transmitted to the valve element 4. Since a projection 10 of the connecting rod 5 is a guide in vertical movement, the valve element 4 does not move right and left to smoothly open and close the valve by being vertically moved.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid pumping device with a high exhaust capacity, the liquid pumping device being capable of pumping a liquid such as hot water or fuel.SOLUTION: A liquid pumping device includes an air intake valve 18 provided on a working steam inlet 11 and an air discharge valve 19 provided on a working steam outlet 13. By snap-shifting a power transmission shaft 28 as a float 3 disposed inside a closed case 2 ascends or descends, the air intake valve 18 and air discharge valve 19 connected to the power transmission shaft 28 are switched from opening to closing and vice versa. The air discharge valve 19 includes a moving valve seat 30 having an air discharge valve port 29, an air discharge valve body 31 for opening or closing the air discharge valve port 29 by removing from or seating on the moving valve seat 30, a lifting rod 32 for connecting the air discharge valve body 31 to the power transmission shaft 28, a fixed valve seat 54 having a second air discharge valve port 53 with an opening area larger than that of the air discharge valve port 29 and being opened or closed by removing from or seating on the moving valve seat 30, and a pin 55 connected to the lifting rod 32 and opening the second air discharge valve port 53 by removing the moving valve seat 30 from the fixed valve seat 54 during a shift process to a full-open direction after opening the air discharge valve port 29.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make gas flow smoothly without making a device large in an exhaust valve device for a fuel tank.SOLUTION: The exhaust valve device 1 of the fuel tank includes: casings 2, 3 and 4 with an inner part divided into an top chamber 41 and a bottom chamber 42 by a partition wall 35 including a connection hole 36; and a float valve 5. The top chamber of each of the casings includes: a cylindrical section 11 where an exhaust port 20 is formed; and a disk 12 for closing a top end of the cylindrical section. A tube body 37 is provided around the connection hole 36 at the side of the top chamber. A first ventilation hole 43 is formed at a side wall of the tube body at the side opposite to the side of the exhaust port. A curved corner part 13, for smoothly continuing an inner circumferential face of the cylindrical section and a bottom face of the disk, is extended at a border of the inner circumferential face of the cylindrical section and the bottom face of the disk. A curvature of the corner part is the smallest at the side opposite to a side, where the exhaust hole is formed, and becomes gradually larger toward the side, where the exhaust hole is formed, in a circumferential direction.
