    • PURPOSE:To obtain an intermittent rotating device, which can easily be manufactured and which can be miniaturized, by providing a cylindrical surface with an input shaft, which is equipped with a cam groove having a specific pattern including a stationary part, and an output shaft, which is equipped with a wheel surface having ball-bearings engaged with the cam groove, in such a manner that both input and output shafts are perpendicular to each other. CONSTITUTION:In an intermittent rotating mechanism incorporated in a housing having a shape of a rectangular parallelopiped is provided with a cam groove 4, which is formed in a cylindrical surface of an input shaft 3, and a wheel surface 51, which is formed in an output shaft 5, which is born in the direction perpendicular to the input shaft 3. In addition, ball bearings 6, which are incorporated in the upper surface of the wheel surface 51 in a freely rotatable manner and the number of which is three or more (e.g. four), are engaged with the cam groove 4. The cam groove 4 consists of a rotation driving part 41, which moves at a predetermined rate in the axial direction, and stationary parts 42, which are situated at the middle of the rotation driving parts 41 and at the same circumference, and the sectional form of the cam groove 4 is of a Gothic arch. With this contrivance, when the input shaft 3 is driven for rotation, the wheel 51 is rotated via the ball bearings 6 within the can groove 4. However, the rotation of the wheel 51 is intermittent owing to the presence of the stationary parts 42.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the reduction gear from being upsized as well as to simplify its structure by transforming the operation of an intermediate ring which transmits the rotation of an input shaft to an output shaft while being decelerated, into intermittent move operation by means of triangle shape movement, and thereby letting deceleration in rotation and two actions of intermittent rotation and intermittent oscillation take place within a position device. CONSTITUTION:When an input shaft 2 is rotated clockwise, only an eccentric cam 3 is rotated while being inscribed in a cam hole 6 from the drive starting point of the eccentric cam 3 to a definite angular position in the direction of clockwise rotation, so that an intermediate ring 5 is not moved at all so as to be undergone into the standstill condition of the intermediate ring 5. The intermediate ring 5 then starts moving by the revolution of the eccentric cam 3 from the definite angular position in the direction of clockwise rotation, and the eccentric cam is revolved while being inscribed in the cam hole 6 of the intermediate ring 5. The intermediate ring 5 is rotated by one third of the pitch angle of the recessed section 10 of an output shaft 8 while being moved with the outer diameter of a set pin 4 inscribed in a triangle shape pin hole 7 at a 120 degree position in the upper right direction, so that the intermediate ring is undergone to a condition identical to that of the drive starting point at the 120 degree position in the upper right direction.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of an unequal pitch type synchronous intermittent feeder by using a system in which a cylindrical cam is intermittently turned and an object to be driven is moved or stopped at an unequal pitch by the cam whose surface is provided with carved unequal pitch and a cam floor coupled with the cam of unequal pitch. CONSTITUTION:A cam cylinder 1 is provided on working station leading to U- turn portions 3 and 3' whose both ends are provided with a delivery mechanism and a cam cylinder 2 is provided on the return side. The cylinders 1 and 2 are intermittently turned by an intermittent drive mechanism, e.g., Geneva mechanism, etc., (not illustrated). Also, the peripheries of the cylinders 1 and 2 are provided with carved groove or thread-shaped cams 1a and 2a which are coupled with a cam floor 9 provided to a mobile nest 8 along the moving path. In this case, the cam 1a of the cam cylinder 1 is formed at lead angles theta1-theta3 determined in line with the pitch of working stations S1-S4, and therefore, the unequal pitch intermittent delivery of works placed on the nest 8 is made possible.
