    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a problem of that in the case that a flow rate is throttled from the side of an open point, a counter flow is caused near the air suction part side of an air outflow guide, and therefore badly influences an original suction flow to lower static pressure in small and medium air volume areas and to moreover make aerodynamic noise performance worse. SOLUTION: A centripetal blower is equipped with an air outflow guide 1 having an air introducing guide 1a extending radially outward in an end part on the air suction side; an about axial flow type fan 3 where an impeller 31 is arranged rotatably and coaxially inside the air outflow guide 1; and an air introducing passage 4 formed with a fixed open space provided from the air introducing guide 1a of the air outflow guide 1 toward a radial outside. The bad influence of a counter flow against the suction flow can be prevented by forming an air outflow passage 8 to circulate the counter flow caused near the air introducing guide 1a to the upstream of the air introducing passage 4 near the air introducing guide 1a of the air outflow guide 1.

An upstream mixer device (10) and a downstream centrifugal impeller device (32) can each be driven by the compressor device (21, 26, 27, 29), which may be shaped to provide a flow passage of decreasing cross-section in the flow direction. The compressor drives may be supplied by axially adjacent electric motors (24, 25) which may surround rotating sleeves (21) carrying the compressor vanes. A fluid can be circulated through the unit, e.g. for electrical insulation, and may be leaked into the pump fluid through seals, when it may contain a corrosion inhibiting agent. The unit may be arranged to be movable along a pipeline under fluid pressure to engage power supply contacts at a predetermined location.

    • PURPOSE: To obtain a high static pressure by arranging in the inlet-side flow passage of the impeller, a plurality of stator blades which are two dimensionally curved in the direction opposite to the revolving direction of an impeller viewing in the axial direction.
      CONSTITUTION: A plurality of stator blades 10 and 10 are integrally shaped with a side panel 5 in the inlet-side flow passage 9 of an impeller 1. Each of the stator blades 10 is curved two dimensionally to give a turning mement to the fluid at the inlet of the imepller 1, in the direction reverse to the revolution direction M of the impeller. When the impeller 1 is driven, the flow W of air which enters from a suction port 7, flows through a flow passage 9 and is sucked by the stator blades 10 while being turned in advance in the direction opposite to the revolution direction M of the impeller, is subjected to centripetal acceleration at the front half of each of the blades 3 and oblique acceleration at the rear half thereof and then discharged from a discharge port 8.
