    • PURPOSE:To make abrasive power accumulated inside the said gap preventable from penetrating into the high pressure side, by installing an air-jet nozzle, to be opened to the low pressure side, in a transitional region ranging from the low pressure side to the high pressure side of a pressure gradient produced inside the gap between a center housing and a rotary sleeve. CONSTITUTION:A pressure gradient is produced inside a gap between a center housing 2 and rotary sleeve 4 of a vane-type compressore, but in the center housing if a transitional region ranging from the low pressure side to the high pressure side, there are provided with air-jet nozzles 20 and 21. These air-jet nozzles 20 and 21 are opened toward the low pressure side, while they are interconnected to the vicinity of a discharge port 34 via an interconnecting passage 25. Therefore, abrasive powder to be accumulated inside the said gap is no longer entered into a narrow gap at the high pressure side and, that is more, seizure or binding between the rotary sleeve and the center housing is preventable.

    • PURPOSE:To enable a compressor to perform its efficient operation in any range of its speed, by changing in accordance with the speed the position of a suction and a delivery port provided in a side plate, in the case of the vane compressor having a rotary sleeve. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve 10, being provided in a center housing 3 of a compressor 1 and turned together with a vane 14, provides in a side of one side plate 6 a suction and a delivery port 18a, 18b, and the sleeve 10 moves more to the side of the side plate 6 as a speed of the compressor increases higher in accordance with a pressure gradient in a working chamber due to the provision of said port 18a, 18b. A port position variable plate 18, providing the both ports, is brought into contact with the sleeve 10 if it moves in the axial direction, turning together with the sleeve in the direction of its rotation. In this way, the compressor, moving a position of the both ports provided in the plate 18 to the proper position in accordance with the speed of the compressor, comes to perform efficient compression.
