    • PURPOSE:To facilitate the varying control of fuel pressure in accordance with the operating condition of an engine by providing a hollow cylinder type valve seat on a diaphragm which is displaced in accordance with the operating condition of said engine and engaging plural springs with said diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:First and second diaphragm 16, 26 are provided interposing a partition wall 15a in between, in a fuel pressure regulating device 14. A first spring 21 presses a valve member 18 against a valve seat 22. And, due to the opening/closing action of the valve member 18, the fuel pressure of a first chamber 19 is kept at a first set value determined by the first spring 21. The rise in temp. of a fuel injection valve 7 is detected by a temp. sensor 8, causing an electronic control device 34 to drive an electromagnetic selector valve 33, thereby, switching over the pressure of an air chamber 27 to the atmospheric pressure. As a result, the valve seat 22 is moved and the fuel pressure in the chamber 19 is increased. Thereby, the varying control of fuel pressure can be easily carried out in accordance with the operating condition of an engine.

    • PURPOSE:To improve accelerating property by a method wherein a fuel regulator is provided with a driving mechanism, which increases fuel pressure by operating a release valve, while the same mechanism is operated in conjunction with a throttle valve through a link mechanism upon sudden acceleration. CONSTITUTION:In the engine, in which the fuel regulator 13 is provided in a fuel path 10 supplying fuel, delivered by a fuel pump 8 driven by a prime mover 7 together with an air pump 9, into the fuel injection port 12 of an injector 11 provided in a small venturi 4, the fuel regulator 13 is constituted of a fuel chamber 16, partitioned by diaphragms 17, 19 respectively, a vacuum chamber 18 and an air chamber 20. The driving mechanism 34, consisting of two sheets of diaphragms 29, 30, rods 31, 32 and a returning spring 33, is provided at the side of the air chamber 20 while the rod 31 is inserted into the air chamber 20 to approach it to the diaphragm 19. The diaphragm 30 of the driving mechanism 34 is connected to and operated in conjunction with the throttle valve 5 through the link mechanism 35 to constitute the accelerating device.

    • PURPOSE:To aim at obtaining a high output power with one single large diameter intake-air passage and as well to enhance the control accuracy of air-fuel ratio in a range where the amount of intake-air is small, by providing venturies and a throttle valve in an intake-air passage so that the flow rate of fuel and the amount of intake-air are controlled by pressurized air controlled by a single solenoid valve. CONSTITUTION:Ventureis 3, 4, a throttle vavle 5 and an injection valve 11 are disposed in an intake-air passage 2. A solenoid valve 15 is controlled by an operating condition signal received by a control unit 47. Upon starting the solenoid valve 15 is opened so that pressurized air is fed through an air passage 27 to a control chamber 20 in a fuel regulator 13 to decrease the opening degree of a relief valve 23 so that the injection amount of fuel from a fuel injection port 12 is increased. Further pressurized air introduced into a control chamber 40 in an intake-air controller 39 through an air passage 29 is decreased so that the opening degree of a throttle valve 5 is increased by means of a cam 45. An air regulator 14 controls the pressure of air pressurized by an air pump 9.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the opening of an auxiliary throttle valve from being changed due to vibration by a structure wherein a throttle valve and the auxiliary throttle valve are coupled with each other by means of a link mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A partially protruded part, in which a fuel injection part 11 forming a small venturi 12 is provided, is provided in a suction air passage 2 at a location between a venturi part 4 and a throttle valve 3. An auxiliary throttle valve 10 is provided in the suction air passage 2 at a location near the fuel injection part 11 and formed in the sectional form of the suction air passage 2 with the part of the fuel injection part 11 is removed so as to clog the greater part of the suction air passage 2 during the running with small suction air quantity, resulting in passing the suction air through the small venturi part 12 and consequently accomplishing the atomization of fuel. Furthermore, an auxiliary throttle valve shaft 9 and a throttle valve shaft 8 are coupled with each other by means of a link mechanism 15, resulting in rendering not to change the opening of the auxiliary throttle valve due to vibration.
