The insert is contoured to conform to the radial cap. The insert shields the radial cap and includes a top surface (112), a bottom surface (114), and a plurality of openings (116, 118, 120) extending therebetween. The openings permit the insert to be attached to the radial cap.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse detonation device for turbo fan engine. SOLUTION: A turbo engine comprises a pulse detonation device for generating a temperature rise and a pressure rise inside of the engine and for generating the thrust from the engine. This device includes a pulse detonation augmenter including a shock wave tube device. The shock wave tube device includes plural shock wave tubes for mixing the air and the fuel to be led into the pulse detonation augmenter and for exploding the air-fuel mixture. The detonation generates the high temperature combustion gas, and this high temperature gas is led from the engine so as to generate the thrust of the engine. This device includes a pulse detonation augmenter device to be substituted for a core engine of the turbo fan engine.
