    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily constitute a skating rink of a dry state by constituting the surface of the skating rink by laying a plurality of stainless steel plates and interposing a netlike stainless steel material between stainless steel plates. SOLUTION: A plurality of stainless steel plates 2 are arranged and laid on the surface of a skating rink, a space where adjacent stainless steel plates 2 are not abutted each other by thermal expansion is provided between stainless steel plates 2 and a buffer member 3 made of a netlike stainless steel material is interposed in the joining part between the stainless steel plates 2. Namely, the buffer member 3 is formed into a structure in which band-shaped stainless steel making the width direction faced in the vertical direction is arranged in a grid-shape so as to easily be deformed in the horizontal direction but to hardly be deformed in the vertical direction. A supporting member 4 is disposed on the lower sides of the buffer member 3 and the tip part of the stainless steel plate 2 and reinforces the buffer member 3. In a skate shoe 5, a surface treatment by polytetrafluoroethylene resin such as Teflon is performed for the tip part of the blade 5a and an excellent skating is secured.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent snow from being melted by providing low temperature air blowing means on a base of accumulated snow and making a plurality of air holes from the surface of snow cover to the base at certain intervals. SOLUTION: Low temperature air is jetted into snow cover 3 from nozzles 5a of a header pipe 4 laid on the whole portion of the base 1, and cold air is uniformly cooled and permeated into the whole of snow. Next, the low temperature air arrives at an air hole 7 through air gap of snow 3, then rises up and is released from the surface of snow 3 to the outside; this air has a density larger than that of atmosphere so that the air flows in a laminar shape along the surface of the snow 3, and sensible heat transmission from the outside air on the surface of snow 3 is interrupted. Next, surroundings of the hole 7 and the snow 3 at an upper portion are frozen by the low temperature air permeated from the hole 7 to the snow 3, and the hardness and shearing strength increase. Moreover, cold heat is sequentially given from the lower layer of snow 3 to the upper layer so that the hardness and shearing strength of the lower layer become larger than those of the upper layer. By doing this, a good condition having no snow peeling can be maintained and the phenomenon of snow avalanche can be prevented even though the angle of tilt of the base is large.
