摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form a coating layer having a good adhesion property at a low cost by sputtering metal near the devoid part of the glass coating layer on the surface of a base material for glass coated products to coat this part, then thickly depositing this metal by an electroless plating or thermal spraying. SOLUTION: The coating layer 3 of the metal, more preferably the noble metal, such as gold, is formed by sputtering near the devoid part 1a generated by peeling of part of the glass coating layer 2 of the glass coated product formed by providing the base material 1 made of metals, etc., with the glass coating layer 2. This coating layer 3 is formed to bestride the marginal part 2a of the circumferential glass coating layer 2 and the thickness thereof suffices with about 0.1 μm. The plating layer 4 or thermal spraying layer of the metal described above is formed to the required thickness on the coating layer 3 by an electroless plating method or thermal spraying. As a result, the glass coated product is repaired by forming the coating layer having the good adhesion property. The erosion from the marginal part 2a is thus completely prevented.
