摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transport apparatus and a heat transport method which can use a nitrous oxide as energy friendly to the global environment.SOLUTION: An apparatus includes: a heat absorption-side heat exchange unit 3 which absorbs heat by heat exchange with the outside while nitrous oxide gas (NO) obtained by adiabatically expanding nitrous oxide is made to pass through the inside thereof; a decomposition reaction unit 2 which includes a nitrous oxide decomposition catalyst 1 for decomposing a nitrous oxide disposed therein, and performs the decomposition of the nitrous oxide gas by the nitrous oxide decomposition catalyst 1 while the nitrous oxide gas is made to pass through the inside thereof; and a heat release-side heat exchange unit 4 which releases heat by heat exchange with the outside while cracked gases (N, O) obtained by decomposing the nitrous oxide gas in the decomposition reaction unit 2 are made to pass through the inside thereof.
