摘要： PURPOSE:To use an existing device as much as possible and to execute caulking of a degree comparable to a roll caulking in the time of caulking a cylinder like piston end onto a rack. CONSTITUTION:A pressing force in an axial direction is applied to a pressing force converting device 15 with a pressing punch 4 of a press device. The pressing force converting device 15 converts the pressing force in the axial direction with a taper face 16 and reduces the diameter of a collet 14. The diameter reduction of this collet 14 applies the pressing force inward the diameter direction against the end part 12a of the piston 12.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance stability in steaming at a high speed, by a method wherein a mechanism for restricting a steering angle in accordance with the velocity of a ship is provided between a ship's hull and an outboard engine. CONSTITUTION:A controlling means 8 provided between a steering arm for the outboard engine and the ship's hull consists of a piston 11, a cylinder 10 and a rod 12, and is provided with passages p1, p2, q1, q2 communicating oil chambers 10a, 10b, and a tank 15 and a solenoid valve 14 which are provided at intermediate parts of the passages. Since the communication between the passages p1, p2 is interrupted by closing the valve 14, the movement of the piston 11 is stopped at the positions of the passages q1, q2. When steaming at a high speed, the steering angle for the outboard engine is restricted by closing the valve 14, so that sideward turnover and spinning are prevented, and safety is enhanced.
