    • PURPOSE:To enable the easy loading of dredged sediments into a barge with small manpower by enabling the even loading of the sediments from a dredger to the barge. CONSTITUTION:A barge 4 is so moored to a dredger 1 that the discharge end 19a of a belt conveyor 19 installed on the dredger 1 will be located at the forward end of the sediment hold 4a of the barge 4, in the transfer of sediments from the dredger 1 to the barge 4. One end of a wire 11 is hooked to mooring bits 9 and 10 on the barge 4 and in this condition, dredged sediments are transferred on the belt conveyor 19 from the dredger 1 to the barge 4. When a forward winch 12 on the dredger 1 is operated during the transfer of the dredged sediments and the wire 11 is wound about the winch 12, the barge 4 moves forward along the side of the dredger 1, together with a block 8 travelling on a guide rail 7. Therefore, the position of the discharge end 19a of the belt conveyor 19 shifts to the aft side of the sediment hold 4a and the dredged sediments are evenly loaded therein.

    • PURPOSE:To enable ice blocks in a high latitude zone to be carried in the direction of low latitude, by a method wherein an object floating on the surface of the sea where an ocean current flows in the directional a latitude is carried, in order, by mooring lines engaging with plural anchoring points formed on the bottom of the sea, deviated in the direction of a longitude line. CONSTITUTION:An object 1 to be carried is engaged at a mooring start point 1d positioned in a place deviated perpendicular to an ocean current, from a position 2a, on a level surface, of a preceding anchoring means 2. Thus, the object 1 is advanced along a preceding circular locus 1c in a direction 30 of an ocean current. Thereafter, in a terminal position 1b of a mooring line 3 stretched in the direction of an ocean current, or a mooring terminal point 1e positioned this way thereof, the object 1 is released from mooring, and simultaneously it is moored to a mooring line 3'. In this case, a position vector 60' of a mooring point 1'a at a subsequent system is directed in the direction of a longitudinal line. Further, the object 1 moves forward from the mooring start point 1'a along a mooring locus 1'c. In position 1'b, on a line 3' stretched in the direction of an ocean current, or a mooring terminal point 1'e positioned this way thereof, the object 1, in turn, is moored to a subsequent mooring line, thus being carried by successive mooring.

    • PURPOSE:To enable a barge to be moved automatically and smoothly along a dredger by providing a connecting means for connecting the optional place of a chain which is moved along the side of said dredger to the mooring bit of said barge which is brought alongside the broadside of said dredger. CONSTITUTION:When sediment is transferred from a dredger 1 to a barge 4, one end of a mooring cable 7 the other end of which is fixed to the optional place of a chain 11 is hooked to the mooring bit 20 of the barge 4, to connect the chain 11 to the mooring bit 20 by means of the mooring cable 7. This connection by means of the mooring cable 7 is carried out in two places between guides 17a and 17b, and guides 17b and 17c provided on the broadside 1a of the dredger 1. And, a driving means 8 is operated in this condition moving the chain 11 in the arrow direction to move the barge 4 forward along the broadside 1a of the dredger 1 by means of the mooring cables 7, thereby, uniformly loading sediment which is discharged out of the dredger 1 to the barge 4 through a belt conveyor 18, into a sediment housing tank 4a.
