CONSTITUTION:The caterpillar 9 operating on the vane wheel 5 rotated by the flow of the fluid in the flow passage 1 are installed by being pressed to the side walls of the flow passage. A forward and backward rotating mechanism 7 transmits the rotating force of the vane wheel 5 to the caterpillars 9 in such a manner that the rotating direction can be changed. The rotation of the caterpillars 9 is reversed. Consequently, the title device movable without troubles even in the curved passage is obtd.

The ship drives the engaging tool 5a toward the front direction, and drives the winding drum 3a by the generating torque of the propeller 16 rotated by the flow, thereby the ship 1 is propelled toward the front direction, as a supporting point in the engaging tool 5a.

CONSTITUTION:In the case of practice being put to a transfer device which is arranged so as to move within a seawater introduction water passage 1 such as the one for a power plant or the like, and clean both the side walls 2 of the water passage 1 by means of brushes 11, a floating body structure 4 having two floats (base bodies) 3 which are in parallel with the water passage 1, is provided. At the front and rear portions of the two floats 3, two shafts 5 extending between the floats 3 are provided, and two water wheels (runners) 6 which are rotated by the water current of seawater flowing within the water passage 1, are fixed at each of the shafts 5. Also, a pulley (a rotary body) 7 is fixed at the middle portion of the shaft 5, and a rope 9 provided stretchingly along the water passage 1 is hung around this pulley 7. And the floating body structure 5 is arranged to be made to move as the rope 9 is being pulled relatively by means of the rotation of the water wheels 6, that is, the rotation of the pulleys 7 caused by the water current.
