    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent adhesion of abrasion powder of a disc brake to a wheel design face. SOLUTION: This abrasion powder adsorption device 50A comprises an inwheel motor 20 and an aluminum plate 34. The inwheel motor 20 is disposed near a brake unit pressing a frictional member to a disc rotor 14 included in a wheel 12, and has an annular rotor 22 surrounding an outer periphery of a stator 24. The aluminum plate 34 is fixed to a car body with a clearance from an outer periphery of the rotor 22 at a downstream side in the rotating direction, of the disc rotor 14 in forward traveling of a vehicle from the brake unit.     • PURPOSE:To make improvements in rigidity, by constituting a textile bundle of a covered layer rolled aslant so as to be crossed between spoke holes on a core material, in case of the above-captioned rim covering the metal core material with a fiber-plastic compound layer. CONSTITUTION:A first fiber-plastic compound layer 31 is formed in a core material A forming spoke holes 2 at the adjacent area inclusive of these spoke holes 2 in parallel with a rim cross section. Next, a second fiber-plastic compound layer 32 is formed on the former as being rolled on so as to make the strip textile bundles 10 and 10 slant and to be crossed between these spoke holes 2. With this constitution, textile distribution inside a covered layer B becomes uniformized over a rim as a whole, thus improvement in its rigidity is promoted.

    • PURPOSE:To contrive to improve the strength of a wheel by a method wherein filament can be orientated in the direction of stress applied to the wheel under tension. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, filament 12 is coated onto its surface with thermosetting resin 14 by passing the filament 12 through a tank 15 filled with thermosetting resin 14. Secondly, a hollow top-like prepreg sheet 18 is formed by winding filament 12 onto the outer peripheral surface of a mandrel 10 under tension in a nearly radial manner so as to intersect each other without break by axially reciprocating the filament 12 by means of the reciprocating mechanism 17 insynchronization with the mandrel 10 rotated by a motor 16. Thirdly, bowl- shaped prepreg sheets 18a and 18b are taken out of the mandrel 10 by cutting the hollow top-like prepreg sheet 18 at its maximum diametral portion with a cutter 19. The resultant boil-shaped prepreg sheets 18a and 18b, both of which are placed back to back, are installed between a bottom force 20 and a top force 21 so as to be hot-pressed.
