    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent thermal activation transfer printing method by which a thermally activated ink is printed onto a paper as a medium or another printable medium by means of an inkjet printer to heat activate the ink, thereby transferring the design formed by the ink onto the substrate on which the design are to permanently appear from the medium. SOLUTION: A liquid ink composition is composed of a thermal activation solid dye which is appropriately used by the inkjet printer using liquid ink, and of at least one emulsifying enforcing agent shutting down the thermal activation solid dye and at least one solvent, and is adjusted. The liquid ink composition is supplied to the inkjet printer to print the ink composition onto the medium in a desired image by means of the inkjet printer, at a temperature lower than the temperature for actuating the thermal activation solid dye, allowing the image to be transferred from an object to another object at a temperature higher than the temperature activating the thermal activation solid dye so as to transfer the thermal activation solid dye on the object on which the image is to appear.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a speed of printing an image, to reduce a margin and to prevent lowering of printing quality due to variation of a conveyance speed of a recording paper. SOLUTION: A pair of conveyance rollers 24 for conveying a color thermal recording paper 20 is provided in a conveyance path and a distance Lh between a thermal head 32 for yellow and a thermal head 34 for cyan is shorter than a recording area of the color thermal recording paper 20. As a result, the conveyance path can be reduced and then the printing speed can be improved. The printing is performed by conveying the color thermal recording paper 20 in the returning direction so that the margin can be reduced. As the conveyance path is bent in such a manner that the path of the color recording paper 20 is straight at a portion except deforming sections among a pinch roller 26 and platen rollers 29-31, the conveyance speed can be stabilized. As the printing is started after all the thermal heads 32-34 are brought into contact with the color thermal recording paper 20 under pressures and the thermal heads 32-34 are sequentially retracted in such a manner that the pressures are gradually reduced upon the completion of the printing, the fluctuation of the conveyance load is reduced so that it is possible to prevent occurrence of density variation and shift of the register.
