摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder which facilitates the operation of attachment/detachment of a carriage 5 without using a guide shaft, and which can reduce manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: First sliding protrusions 55a and 55b protruding from an undersurface of the carriage 5 are made to abut on first sliding surfaces 51 and 52 of almost horizontal top surfaces of first and second guide members 22 and 23, second sliding protrusions 59 and 60 in two horizontal locations are made to abut on one side of a vertical guide piece 52 of the second guide member 23, and a moving attitude of the carriage 5 in a main scanning direction is kept constant by elastically urging a third sliding protrusion 82 from the other surface of the guide piece 52. Anti-coming-off pawls 56a and 56b in four locations, which are provided on the undersurface of the carriage 4, are made to face the undersurfaces of both the guide members 22 and 23, so that coming-off can be prevented. The carriage 5 can be detached by passing the pawls 56a and 56b in locations of four notches 57a and 57b which are formed in the prescribed positions of both the guide members 22 and 23.
