    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the variation in regulation, enhance working efficiency and reduce the cost required for the adjustment by automatically regulating the stop position of a ram stem.
      SOLUTION: The mechanism which is equipped with a clutch brake unit 15 for intermitting the rotation of a flywheel 14 rotationally driven by a press motor 13 and performs punching operation by transmitting the rotation to the ram stem 12 is equipped with a position detector 16 which detects the position of the ram stem, a noticing means which notices the operation timing of the clutch to a clutch brake unit 15, and a correction means which calculates the amount of slippage between the stop position of the ram stem detected by the position detecting means and a top dead center and corrects the operation timing based on the the calculated amount of the slippage. The amount of the slippage of the top dead center is monitored with the numerical control mechanism 1 by enabling to read the position with the numerical control mechanism 1 and the slippage of the top dead center is corrected by automatically regulating the timing for disengaging the clutch by the ram stem position.
