The lid has a layered structure in which a lid-shaped outer layer formed of a resin not to absorb laser beam, a laser beam absorbing layer, and an adhesive and cover layer formed of a resin not to absorb laser beam with the thickness of 12-113 μm are successively superposed from the outer side. The layered structure is arranged at least at a position being brought into contact with the edge of the mouth part of the container, and the resin forming the adhesive and cover layer and the resin forming the plastic container have welding characteristics.
