    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide for tree logging with which trees safely and reliably fall down in a prescribed direction.SOLUTION: The guide for tree logging is made up as follows: a sheet 2 cylindrically wound and mounted around the trunk of a tree 10 is provided with: a lower cut line 3 formed along the horizontal direction of the sheet 2; diagonal cut lines 4 being equilateral sides of an isosceles triangle having the lower cut line 3 as a bottom side; and saw side cut lines 5formed on a side of the isosceles triangle along the horizontal direction. The angles of the diagonal cut lines 4 based on the lower cut line 3 is 30-45 degrees. The intervals h, h, and hbetween the saw side cut lines 5 and the lower cut line 3 respectively correspond to about 2/3 of the heights H, H, and Hof a back side 11. The lower cut line 3 has such a length that the cut length D of the lower cut is 1/4 or more of the diameter of the trunk. The saw side cut lines 5 have such a length that the width L of a hinge is about 1/10 of the diameter of the trunk. The heights H, H, and Hhave the distance of P-P, P-P, and P-P, respectively.

      SOLUTION: The wood precutting processing machine is constituted so that the contact plate 381 is set at a predetermined position on the side of a processing machine body of a feed passage if necessary (1-1), the contact plate is movable in the feed direction of the worked timber (1-2), the contact plate is energized in the direction opposite to the feed direction of the worked timber by an energizing member 385 (1-3), a sensor for detecting the moving quantity of the contact plate is provided (1-4), the moving quantity of the contact plate from the production position is calculated from the detection signal of the sensor to be set to an end part reference position by an end part position determing means (1-5), the contact plate is provided on upstream and downstream sides (4-1), a carrier device is provided to grasp the rear end of the worked timber on the upstream feed passage to transfer the worked timber toward the processing machine body (4-2), the carrier device is immediately stopped by an instantenuous stop control means when the start of the movement of the contact plate is detected (4-3), a transfer position determining device is provided to grasp the leading end of the worked timber on the feed passage to transfer and locate the worked timber (4-4) and a movement stopping control means is provided to stop the contact plate after the contact plate is moved by predetermined quantity (10 mm) when the start of the movement of the contact plate is detected (4-5).

On the other hand, when cutting is conducted at the position where the reference end face is not obtained at the material side to be cut from the bottom of the base such as a wide plate surface or the position near the boundary with the wall, if the piece 7 is mounted at the base in the state that piece 7 is directed upward, a circular saw machine is guided by the wall surface by bringing the outer surface 5 of the guide 2 into contact with the wall surface, and cutting parallel to the contact surface can be performed.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a smooth and fine cut surface by a method wherein cutting is performed from the wider board surface side of board material along grain with a rotary disc mounted at the tip of a rockable arm about a pivotally bearing point under the condition that the board material is pressingly fixed to a feeding stand at the cutting of the seal board material in accordance with the length of a rubber material for seal. CONSTITUTION:In the cutting device 10 concerned, a rotary disc 11 is rotatably mounted at the tip of a supporting arm 12, which is made vertically rockable about a pivotally bearing point 13. A board material feeding stand 40 consists of a horizontal base platen 41, on which seal board material in continuous from is stationed, and a guide plate 42 normal to the base platen. The board material 1 slides under the condition being in contact with both the base platen 41 and the guide plate 42 so as to decide the cut dimension of the board material by abutting the tip of the board material against an identification switch. A keep plate 50, which pressingly fixed the board material 1, is journaled at its end by a pivot shaft so as to carry out its opening and closing action by means of a cam 61 and the like. The board material 1 is cut with the rotary disc 11 under the condition that the board material 1 is seated on the feeding stand 40 in such a manner as to be the wider surface of the board material 1 in contact with the feeding stand 40, the tip of the board material is abutted against the identification switch and the board material is pressed with the keep plate 50.
