    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of forming an elastic roller, which is not concentric cylinder but has an elastic layer on each end face having a projection, without molding the end face with a mold, and to provide an elastic layer end cutting device for the elastic roller, used for the method. SOLUTION: The method comprises: a step in which a cutting blade 35 with a blade face 35a disposed on a first plane relative to the elastic layer 2 having a uniform cross-section over the entire length is relatively displaced in a direction perpendicular to the axial line of the elastic roller 10, thereby forming a first surface on the elastic layer 2; and a step in which a cutting blade 36 with a blade face 36a disposed on a second plane is relatively displaced parallel to the axial line, thereby forming a second surface on the elastic layer 2. When the cutting blades are displaced relative to the elastic roller, the blade lines 35b and 36b of the cutting blades are inclined by an angle θto the directions Y of their respective relative displacements, thereby forming the elastic roller.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small device for notching capable of forming a notched recesses simply and easily in a structural angle so as to fit a plate nut or the like in lips of a rail part of the structural angle for mounting parts. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a movable piece 2 which can freely come in and out of a lower end of a body 1 and has a shearing blade 13 protruding sideways from a tip, and a screw means 3 having a screw shaft 15 for retreating the movable piece 2 forcibly, and a receiver blade 14 for shearing which is formed at the lower end of the body 1 so that it can work together with the shearing blade 13 of the movable piece 2. The shearing blade 13 of the movable body 2 can be fitted inside of one of both lips 23 in the rail part 22 of a structural angle 20 for parts mounting parts from between both the lips 23. In this fitting state, the movable piece 2 is retreated to the body 1 side by the screw means 3, and then the lip 23 on one side can be sheared with both the shearing blade 13 of the movable piece 2 and the receiver blade 14 for shearing of the body 1 side.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make joining surfaces coincide surely with each other and to enable precision butt end treatment even in butt end processing in which the inner wall surfaces of a V-groove are combined together to join the end part to the butt end. SOLUTION: A plate-shaped cutter 15 in which blade parts are formed on the peripheral fringe of a surface which is rotated by a rotary shaft and crosses at right angles with the rotary shaft is installed to protrude from the surface of a head 13. A sliding table 19 which slides perpendicularly to the rotary shaft is installed on the surface of the head 13. A positioning means 25 which holds an extrusion molding material 26 to make the extrusion direction parallel with the rotary shaft is installed on the table 19. The cross-sectional shape in the radius direction of the blade parts of the cutter 15 is formed in the same shape with a V-groove.
