    • PURPOSE:To manufacture a saw body easy for cutting work by punching a normal circular or about circular hole on the part becoming the bottom between saw teeth later on, and making one part of the hole remaining as a recessed part on the bottom at the saw teeth forming time. CONSTITUTION:Prior to forming saw teeth 31 on a saw body 30 circular holes 32 are punched at the position becoming the bottoms between the saw teeth 31 later on. These holes 32 may be in a normal circle or about circular and even oval as occasions demand. The saw body 30 is ordinarily formed by rapping a tempered steel body and saw teeth are formed on the web of a rapped saw body. For the formation of the holes 32, the holes in the necessary number are punched at specific positions by a drill device, etc., simultaneously with die cutting time in case of punching the die of the saw body 30 form a strip like steel sheet. Otherwise the holes 32 are punched at the specific positions, namely the positions becoming the bottoms between saw teeth 31 by a drill device, etc., prior to the rapping of the saw body 30 or after the rapping. The saw teeth 31 are thus formed on the saw body 30 on which the holes 32 were opened in advance at the specific positions.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome one or more of drawbacks and/or disadvantages of conventional technology.SOLUTION: A circular saw blade comprises a generally circular body defining cutting teeth at a periphery thereof. First apertures in the body define a first mounting hole pattern for receiving mounting pins of a first circular saw machine defining a first mounting pin pattern thereof for mounting the circular saw blade thereto. Second apertures in the body define a second mounting hole pattern different than the first mounting hole pattern for receiving mounting pins of a second circular saw machine defining a second mounting pin pattern thereof different than the first mounting pin pattern for mounting the circular saw blade thereto. At least one of the first apertures and at least one of the second apertures are (i) at least one of (a) radially and (b) circumferentially displaced from each other; and (ii) at least one of (a) overlap and (b) are connected to each other.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To combine processes appropriate for respective metal characteristics and to enable sharp polishing of the edges of trough sections up to parts of cemented carbide tips, in manufacturing a tip saw where the trough sections and crest sections are alternately formed on the outer periphery of a disk-like material and the cemented carbide tips are buried in the crest sections.
      SOLUTION: A disk-like steel plate 10 is punched to form the trough sections 3 and tip buried sections 50, then pressed by a pair of rollers, and returned mechanically. The steel plate 10 is thermally treated to have a hardness of about HRC45, and then trough edges 31 are formed in the trough sections 3. Next, both surfaces of the tip saw body 1 are polished flatly, and the cemented carbide tips 5 are buried in the tip buried sections 50 by welding. Then, a wax lump 6 is removed by sand blast work, and simultaneously a bent peripheral edge 34 is polished sharply.
