    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting apparatus by which casting can be performed in differently-shaped casting molds and by which versatility can be improved. SOLUTION: The casting apparatus 10 has a holding mechanism 40 in which an end of a casting mold 100 is held by adjusting a position of holding the casting mold 100 in accordance with the shape thereof, while casting is performed by using the casting mold 100 held by the holding mechanism 40. The casting apparatus 10 includes: a dust collection mechanism 50 that has an air discharge nozzle 51 for discharging air along a riser face 105 for the casting mold 100 to directly contact with the outside air, a contact face 106, and a contact face 107, that has an air suction nozzle 52 for sucking the air discharged from the air discharge nozzle 51, and that forms an air curtain around the riser face 106, the contact face 106, and the contact face 107; and a pouring completion confirming mechanism 60 that has a riser face sensor 61 for monitoring molten metal 90 in parallel along the riser face 105 when the molten metal 90 is poured in the casting mold 100.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry a molten metal in a state of being safely and certainly stored without providing a complicated moving mechanism in a molten-metal storing chamber, and to make maintenance easier.
      SOLUTION: The molten metal feeding device includes: a molten metal storing housing 100 having a molten metal storing chamber 110 for storing a molten metal and having a molten metal discharging part 120, at the front end of which a molten metal discharging port 121 for discharging a molten metal is formed; a molten metal introducing pipe 200, which is fitted to the molten metal storing housing 100 in such a manner that an upper end 210 of the pipe 200 is positioned inside the molten metal storing chamber 110 and which introduces the molten metal into the molten metal storing chamber 110; and a rotation mechanism 300 for giving the molten metal storing housing 100 rotational power to move the molten metal discharging port 121 upward or downward. When the upper limit of molten metal stored in the molten metal storing chamber 110 is set to be the position directly before the position where the molten metal stored in the molten metal storing chamber 110 starts to flow out of the molten metal discharging port 121 under the condition that the molten metal storing housing 100 stands upright, the molten metal introducing pipe 200 is fitted to the molten metal storing housing 100 so that the upper end 210 thereof is positioned slightly lower than the upper limit of stored molten metal.
