    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe bending auxiliary tool capable of preventing occurrence of wrinkles on the inner side when bending a cylindrical pipe, and holding of a pipe bending member on the inner side of bending, improving the friction with a pipe inner surface during the bending work, and smoothly peeling a cylindrical elastic material from an inner surface of the bent pipe.
      SOLUTION: The pipe bending auxiliary tool inserts a cylindrical elastic material 1, which is expandable and contractible in the radial direction, into the inner surface of a pipe to be bent, and inflates the material so as to be tightly attached thereto. Any abrasion damage caused by the friction between the cylindrical elastic material and the inner wall of the pipe which are tightly attached to each other by bending the pipe can be reduced. After bending the pipe, the cylindrical elastic material is contracted, a supporting rod 6 connected to a flexible member 5 is axially moved to move the cylindrical elastic body 1 in the axial direction, and the cylindrical elastic material 1 is smoothly peeled from the inner surface of the bent pipe.

    • PURPOSE:To bend a tube without breaking the external peripheral part of the tube by coiling a wire for shape memory alloy of a specified sectional shape having extra elasticity to form a cylindrical body. CONSTITUTION:A wire 1 forming a cylindrical body 2 is made up of the shape memory alloy having extra elasticity, and the sectional shape of the wire 1 is formed to take such a shape that a second moment of area to the bending external force in the diametrical direction of the cylindrical body 2 is larger than a second moment of area to the bending external force in the longitudinal direction of the cylindrical body 2. For that purpose, when the cylindrical body 2 is inserted into the tube 3 to be worked so that the external peripheral part of the tube 3 to be worked is not broken, though the peripheral part of the cylindrical body 2 is pressed by the tube 3, the cylindrical body 2 can be taken out easily by putting its end part only without causing any plastic deformation while it is extended and then returns to the original cylindrical body 2. Further, though the wire 1 has the extra elasticity because it has a specified sectional shape, the holding and supporting force from the inside of the pipe can be strengthened to the deforming force in the direction given to the tube when the tube 3 is bent.
