    • PURPOSE:To automate sizing work by providing both a sizer constituted of a filter capable of passing only powder having the specified particle diameter or below through the circumferential wall part of a cylindrical body and a reservoir for recovering a solution containing sized powder. CONSTITUTION:When a solution containing powder is charged into a cylindrical body 10 from a charging port 12A and the cylindrical body 10 is rotated, the solution containing powder is raised along the circumferential wall part 16 of the cylindrical body 10 and soon falls to the downside from the upside of the circumferential wall part 16. Fine particles in the powder and the solution pass through a filter 22 by shock thereof and fall into the lower reservoir 38. In such a way, since powder is sized by utilizing the falling shock of the solution, sizing efficiency is enhanced and also automation is enabled when the particle diameter of powder is small and even when powder is difficult to be sized in a dry method and has high adhesive properties.

    • PURPOSE:To separate and remove solid particles of desired sizes efficiently by moving the material to be separated on separating plates by the overflow of liquid tanks then dropping the same together with the liquid flowing along the curved parts thereby separating the same. CONSTITUTION:Water is supplied through shower pipes 10 into respective liquid tanks 4, 4'... and is filled until the water level reaches the top edge parts of the side walls 5 connected with separating plates 6. For example, the uncrusted shrimps having been thawed are charged into the 1st liquid tank 4 from the upper part of a house 3 by a conveying means and the uncrusted shrimps and foreign matter move together with the overflowing water on the flat part of the separating plate 6. During this time, the velocity of the foreign matter is higher than that of the uncrusted shrimps and therefore a deviation is produced therebetween and they are separated to a certain degree in the overflow. Further, when they move to the curved part of the separating plate 6, the uncrusted shrimps fall into the liquid tank 4' of the next stage owing to gravity, and the foreign matter passes together with the overflow on the regulating plate 8 of the liquid tank 4' of the next stage and arrives at the end of the curved part, leaves the separating plate 6 and falls and is accumulated in a reserving box 11, whereby the separation of the uncrusted shrimps and foreign matter is accomplished well.
