    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biotoilet which can change urine to a useful liquid fertilizer by installing a conversion tank for converting urine-to-liquid fertilizer in place of a human waste tank in the pipework, is made more constructible and economical, and is made easy to maintain. SOLUTION: The biotoilet has a lavatory bowl which stirs dropped feces and saw dust and the like for fermentation and decomposition, a separating toilet bowl having the function of separating feces and urine, a rainwater hand washing device using rainwater for washing hands, and a conversion tank for converting urine-to-liquid fertilizer. The hand washing device by rainwater using rainwater for washing hands is connected to the lavatory bowl and the conversion tank for converting urine-to-liquid fertilizer by the pipework and the urine discharge portion of the separating toilet bowl is connected to the conversion tank by the pipework. The biotoilet is designed to make a liquid fertilizer by adjusting the water content in the lavatory bowl by a water content introduced from the hand washing device by rainwater and diluting urine introduced into the conversion tank with a water content introduced from the rainwater hand washing device by a factor of 2 to 5.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact bio-toilet which dissolves excretion in a shorter time compared with a conventional manner by activating microbes.SOLUTION: The bio-toilet 10 has a box shape casing 11 with a lid 28, which stores a bowl 33 for receiving the excretion, a treatment tub 12 having an open top and arranged immediately under the bowl 33, a stir means for stirring a microbe carrier stored in the treatment tub 12, a bio-water injecting means for injecting bio-water V toward the treatment tub 12, a fan 23, a heater 32, and a control part 22 for controlling the devices. The bio-water injecting means includes: a tank 24 for storing the bio-water V which activates the microbes; a pair of injection nozzles 26, arranged in a bottom surface of a toilet seat 29, for injecting the bio-water V to the treatment tub 12; a pump 25 for supplying the bio-water inside the tank 24 to the injection nozzles 26; and pipes 30, 31 connecting the devices.
