SOLUTION: This flying insect pest trap device is characterized by including a machine frame 1 for forming a support portion 1A above a cultivation bed Q for weak plants P, an upward air flow-producing means 2 supported on the support portion 1A and disposed to face the weak plants P to produce the upward air flow for swinging the weak plants P, and a trapping bag 3 which has air permeability and whose opening is attached to the upper side of the upward air flow-producing means 2 so that an air flow produced by the upward air flow-producing means 2 passes through the inside of the bag. The weak plants P placed below the upward air flow-producing means 2 are swung to fly away insect pests stayed on the weak plants P, and the flying insect pests are carried with the upward air flow and trapped in the trapping bag 3. SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for diffusing a chemical is equipped with a first tank 2 charged with the volatile chemical A such as the attractant, etc., and a second tank 3 charged with the volatile chemical B. The chemicals A and B are sucked by a variable delivery pump 6 and delivered through a delivery pipe 7 to an evaporating dish 8. The control circuit 9 controls the presence or absence of the delivery and the delivery rate of the mixed chemical C by the pump 6 based on the detected results of each sensor according to a previously stored control program.
