      SOLUTION: The combine includes a grain culm pulling-up device and an auxiliary pulling-up device configured to pull up non-reaping grain culms by upward movement along the lower half-arcuate part and the linear part of a tine chain in a state wherein many pulling-up tines are fitted to the tine chain wound around and extended across a pair of upper and lower sprockets and protruded from the tine chain in a substantially orthogonal state, wherein the lower part of the grain culm pulling-up device and the upper part of the auxiliary pulling-up device are partially arranged overlapping with each other in the front-rear direction, and the moving speed (peripheral speed) of pulling-up tines of the lower semi-arcuate part at the auxiliary pulling-up device is substantially equal to the moving speed of pulling and raising tines of the linear part at the grain culm pulling-up device.

      SOLUTION: This ordinary type combined harvester includes root side-conveying devices 20 positioning the beginning end part of conveyance at a part forward from a traveling machine body relative to a reaping device 63 and also on a lateral outside of the traveling machine body relative to a reaping action zone of the reaping device 63, positioning the terminal end part of the conveyance in the vicinity of lateral end of the reaping device 63 and while gathering the root side of planted stem culms to the inside in the lateral direction of the traveling machine body, engaging/conveying them to the rear direction of the traveling machine body and supplying to the reaping device 63, and a freely driven forcing grass-separating device 30 acting the grass separation on more ear side relative to the root side-conveying device 20 does for the planted stem culms to separate the planted stem culms to be reaped and not to be reaped.
