    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for joining plates, a plate joining structure, and a display module having the same. SOLUTION: The method for joining plates includes a stage (a) in which a plurality of plates are arranged to have at least an overlapping portion with each other, a stage (b) in which a first deformation unit is formed at the overlapped portion of the plates, and a stage (c) in which a second deformation unit is formed in the first deformation unit, wherein the first deformation unit and the second deformation unit protrude in opposite directions from each other, and the second deformation unit has a cross-sectional area smaller than that of the first deformation unit. The plate joining structure comprises a first deformation unit formed at a portion where a plurality of plates overlap each other and a second deformation unit formed in the first deformation unit, wherein the first deformation unit and the second deformation unit protrude in opposite directions to each other, and the second deformation unit has a cross-sectional area smaller than that of the first deformation unit.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated composite pipe having sufficient shear strength as well as sufficient peel strength, and a method and a tool for overhang caulking which enables the laminated composite pipe to be obtained easily and securely. SOLUTION: The outer cylinder (tube) 3 of a strut is laminated with the cylindrical section 14 of a spring seat 11. Then a plurality of places of the laminated section are overhang caulked by a punch and a die, and the outer cylinder 3 of the strut and the cylindrical section 14 of the spring seat 11 are tightly laminated and fixed at and by means of a joining portion 20. The joining portion 20 is composed of two types of joining parts, i.e. a first joining part 21 shaped by making the overhanging portion of the tube 3 bite the outer wall of the overhanging portion of the cylindrical section 14 of the spring seat, and a second joining part 22 shaped by fitting the overhanging portion of the cylindrical section 14 of the spring seat to the overhanging portion of the tube 3 at platy faces. The peel strength is secured mainly by the first joining part 21 of the biting shape, and the shear strength is secured mainly by the second joining part 22 of the platy face fitting shape.
