    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin and inexpensive motor (50) for obtaining the position of a disk mounted on a hub with high accuracy without deteriorating dynamic characteristics and without shortening product life. SOLUTION: This motor comprises a stator (S) having a shaft (2), and a rotor (R) having a sleeve (5) through which the shaft is passed, and a hub (6) fixed on its outside circumferential surface (5b). The outside circumferential surface of the sleeve has a first outer circumference surface (5b1) of a first diameter (ϕA), a second outer circumference surface (5b2) of a second diameter (ϕB) larger than the first diameter, and a butting surface (5c1), which connects the first outer circumference surface and the second outer circumference surface and intersects the shaft perpendicularly. The hub has a base part (6k), which intersects the shaft perpendicularly, a through hole (6ka) formed in the base part, and a protruding part (6c), which protrudes annularly along the shaft using the through hole as an inner circumference surface (6b). An abuting surface (6d1), which intersects the shaft perpendicularly at a position closer to the base part from the outer circumference side, is provided on the inner circumference side of the end part of the protruding part.
