    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-sealing valve which can be used together with a small, low power, low duty cycle electromechanical device. SOLUTION: An assembly including the electromechanical device and the self-sealing valve includes: a valve housing defining an opening 26 through which fluid can be provided to an inflatable device; a flexible diaphragm assembly 40 that is configured to self-seal the opening with sufficient fluid pressure in the inflatable device and to open, under sufficient fluid pressure from a fluid moving device 110, to provide fluid through the opening and to seal the inflatable device. The assembly further includes the electromechanical device 50 including an actuating arm 52 having a first position 53 in which the actuating arm urges to open the self-sealing valve and a second position in which the actuating arm does not act upon the self-sealing valve, so as to regulate an amount of fluid within the inflatable device.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel improved expansion valve assembly incorporated in an expansible bladder member of a dunnage air bag or a cargo air bag. SOLUTION: The expansion valve assembly comprises a flange member to be thermally sealed to an inner face portion on one of the plurality of layers of an expansible bladder of the air bag and a nipple portion to be connected to an external fluid pressure source for expanding the air bag. The expansion valve assembly has an upright ring member integrally arranged on an upper face portion of the flange member and a swing valve member having an end fixed to the arched part of the upper face portion of the flange member with a fixing bar. The fixing bar is protruded at both ends inward in the radial direction of facing each other to define a pair of opposed return stops for keeping the swing valve member at an open position. Thus, the height and depth of the expansion valve assembly are reduced and the sealing of the bladder expansive during manufacture is easily accelerated by the expansion valve assembly.
