摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel improved expansion valve assembly incorporated in an expansible bladder member of a dunnage air bag or a cargo air bag. SOLUTION: The expansion valve assembly comprises a flange member to be thermally sealed to an inner face portion on one of the plurality of layers of an expansible bladder of the air bag and a nipple portion to be connected to an external fluid pressure source for expanding the air bag. The expansion valve assembly has an upright ring member integrally arranged on an upper face portion of the flange member and a swing valve member having an end fixed to the arched part of the upper face portion of the flange member with a fixing bar. The fixing bar is protruded at both ends inward in the radial direction of facing each other to define a pair of opposed return stops for keeping the swing valve member at an open position. Thus, the height and depth of the expansion valve assembly are reduced and the sealing of the bladder expansive during manufacture is easily accelerated by the expansion valve assembly.
