摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a failure that a locking limit switch and an unlocking limit switch are fixed in an off-state. SOLUTION: The locking limit switch 4 is turned on when a locking rod 2 arrives at a locking stop position and turned off when an unlocking instruction of the locking rod 2 is outputted. Further, the unlocking limit switch 5 is turned on when the locking rod 2 arrives at an unlocking stop position and turned off when the locking instruction of the locking rod 2 is outputted. An electric steering lock control unit 20 determines that the locking limit switch 4 or the unlocking limit switch 5 is failed in such a state that the locking rod 2 is locked or it is unlocked when both the locking limit switch 4 and the unlocking limit switch 5 are turned off.
