Therefore, since the vibration component can be excited in the direction corresponding to the physical anisotropy, the sound wave surface shape and frequency characteristics of a sound pressure level radiated from the acoustic diaphragm 201 are changed to obtain a desired sound image localization and the spread feeling compared with an acoustic diaphragm made of material having a physical isotropy.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate easy positioning and attachment of a diaphragm by arranging a dust cap commonly used as a weight ring at the center of a diaphragm, and forming a flange containing many small holes at the fringe part of the dust cap, and burying the flange into the diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:A gasket 9 and a fringe part of an edge 11 connected to the fringe part of a conical diaphragm 10 are welded to the fringe part of a frame 8. The diaphragm 10 is made of the paper containing pulp fibers, etc., and a dust cap 12 commonly used as a weight ring is connected to the center on the upper side of the diaphragm 10. The cap 12 is made of a metal or syntheic resin and contains a flange 14 having many small holes at the fringe area, and the center part of the cap 12 is formed into a dome. The flange 14 is buried and fixed at the middle part of the diaphragm 10. The center part on the lower side of the diaphragm 10 is held by a damper 15. In such a way, the diaphragm 10 is actuated with good balance to ensure the stable working of the diaphragm 10.
