摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus having a detachable accessory device, and configured to reproduce/display a video image showing a maintenance procedure for recovering from a fault without requiring a huge storage area.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus 100 detects a fault, and determines whether the detected fault has occurred in an accessory device mounted on a body of the image processing apparatus 100. When the detected fault has occurred in the accessory device, the image processing apparatus 100 receives video data showing a procedure for recovering from the fault in the accessory devices 101, 102 from a video distribution server 120, stores the video data in storage means, and reproduces it on a screen. Upon detection that the fault has been eliminated, the image processing apparatus 100 deletes the video data displayed on the screen from the storage means.
