摘要： Accordingly, a virtual keypad system for inputting text is provided. A virtual keypad system includes a remote controller having at least one touchpad incorporated therein and divided into a plurality of touch zones. A display device is in data communication with the remote controller and is operable to display a user interface including a keypad, where each key of the keypad is mapped to a touch zone of the touchpad. A prediction module, in response to an operator pressing a given touch zone to select a particular character, performs one or more key prediction methods to predict one or more next plausible keys. A key mapping module remaps the touch zones of the touchpad to the keys of the keypad based on the one or more next plausible keys.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for displaying a menu screen on which a user can comfortably select desired items on a multi-functional display device.SOLUTION: The display control method for a menu screen according to the present invention includes: displaying content in a content display area at a central part of a display screen by making the size of the content smaller than the size of the display screen; displaying a plurality of icons around the content display area in a ring-like arrangement; and displaying the icons while being interlocked with selecting operations by a user from the plurality of icons such that each of the icons is successively moved to a specific position while moving around the content display area without overlapping the content display area.

摘要： A method of inputting a user command includes displaying a navigation window including letter key symbols corresponding to keys on a manipulator. If a first user command as to a specific key on the manipulator is input, a specific letter key symbol on the navigation window corresponding to the specific key is activated, and if a second user command as to the specific key is input, the letter corresponding to the activated specific letter key symbol is input. Accordingly, even if the manipulator is separated from the display on which a result of the manipulator is displayed, the user can input a user command by looking at the display only.
