    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiving device which can output an electronic program guide which allows a viewer to discriminate between programs the viewer want to watch and programs the viewer does not want to watch, without reducing information to be displayed at one time on the electronic program guide.
      SOLUTION: A TV receiver 1 includes a digital tuner portion 14 for receiving broadcast signals containing program information, a separating portion 17 for extracting the program information out of the received broadcast signals, an OSD processing portion 20 for generating an electronic program guide based on the extracted program information, and a remote controller R for inputting search information for searching for programs in the electronic program guide. The OSD processing portion 20 generates the electronic program guide in such a manner that a display field of programs conforming to the search information inputted from the remote controller R may be larger than that of the other programs. The OSD processing portion 20 divides the programs in the electronic program guide in the time direction and in the channel direction and reduces the display field of other programs by the unit of broadcast time and/or the unit of channel.
