摘要：受信機のクロックを送信機のクロックに合わせることなく、送信されてくるシンボル系列をデータ復元する。受信機において、2倍のオーバーサンプリングされた受信データをポリフェーズ化し、適応アルゴリズムによるフィードバックを適用して、そのデータをずらすと同時に補償フィルタのフィルタ係数(タップ係数の系列)をシフトさせる。受信信号のプリアンブルやヘッダーから得た相関値を初期値とするタップド・フィルタと、ウェーブフロント・アライナー(波面整合器)との組み合わせによるフィルタを通すことで、オンザフライで、サンプリング周波数・位相オフセットを補償することができる。かかる構成は、リサンプリングフィルタ回路、等化フィルタ回路、デシメーションフィルタ回路を1つの補償フィルタ回路で実現していることに相当しており、従来技術よりも回路サイズも大幅に小さくすることができる。

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously and finely tune the inter-symbol interference amount given to a data signal.SOLUTION: The inter-symbol interference amount given to a data signal is continuously tuned by passing the data signal through a programmable filter 1010 having an adjustable frequency response, and through a fixed filter 1015 having a fixed frequency response such as a PCB trace, a length of cable, and a discrete filter. The programmable filter 1010 can adjust its parameters and therefore its insertion gain or loss, thereby continuously varying and finely tuning the inter-symbol interference amount.
