    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the comprehensively even cooling of a stator and the optimum control of magnetic field in a cable of stator windings, by improving a generator of a type that has a rotor supported in such a way as to be rotatable around axis of rotation and surrounded by a stator and that has stator windings, which, formed by insulated cables and arranged inside the laminated thin metal plates of the rotor, extend in the axial direction inside the metal plates and form a winding head on the end surface at the outside of the metal plates. SOLUTION: A stator having the laminated thin metal plates and the stator windings is put in a casing, which is sealed hermetically without containing the rotor. The inside chamber of the casing is filled with a coolant.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the thickness of a coil section and to disperse electromagnetic force which is operated between cables in a track buried coil formed in a plurality of turns of a cable by arranging the cable so as to be displaced in the prescribed width. CONSTITUTION:A track cable is displaced in the lateral direction of the coil between adjacent layers in the amount of D/2(where D represents the outer diameter of the cable) in the section of the track cable. As a result, the width of the coil section in the thicknesswise direction becomes D{1+3 /2X(n-)}. Accordingly, the thickness of the coil section can be reduced as compared with the conventional one. When thus arranged, electromagnetic force which is operated between the cables can be dispersed.
