    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To diagnose a performance degradation factor of a module battery of a lithium ion secondary battery by splitting the factor into a usage environment and a manufacturing process.
      SOLUTION: Manufacturing management information of the module battery obtained by a battery manufacturing process 1 and a unit cell mounted thereon is collected by a manufacturing quality information collection processing unit 4 and stored in a database 6. When the module battery 2 in the usage environment is charged by a battery diagnostic system 3, an operation record processing unit 5 collects operation record information of the module 2, and stores it in a database 7. An operation record monitoring unit 8 determines whether the operation record information has any fault, and supplies the determination result to a manufacturing/usage environment factor classification unit 9. When it is determined that there is a fault, the manufacturing/usage environment factor classification unit 9 determines whether the fault in the operation record information is due to a manufacturing factor or a usage environment factor based on the manufacturing management information of the corresponding module battery in the database 6, and the diagnostic result is generated and displayed by a diagnostic result generating unit 10.
