    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target for an X-ray generation device, an X-ray generation device, and a method for manufacturing the target for the X-ray generation device, capable of generating a high-intensity X-ray with stability.SOLUTION: A target for an X-ray generation device comprises: a diamond plate formed of a conductive material and bonded air-tightly so as to cover an opening of a holder part having the opening; and a thin-film target provided on a surface of the diamond plate. An outer peripheral part of the thin-film target is provided so as to extend to the holder part as it is and electrically connected with the holder part. The holder part is configured to be electrically connected with a power supply of the X-ray generation device. The diamond plate is incorporated into the X-ray generation device so that a side where the thin-film target is formed is arranged in a vacuum atmosphere, and that a side opposite to the side where the thin-film target is formed is arranged on a side thermally contacted with a cooling medium and cooled.
