    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the electric characteristics in a capacitive device (device) including a plurality of capacitors connected in series in the lamination direction of internal electrodes.SOLUTION: Three capacitors are formed of a dielectric layer 3, and four internal electrodes 30-33 laminated via the dielectric layer 3 with the centers of gravity of the electrode bodies being arranged on an axis consisting of a line in the lamination direction. The capacitor includes two variable capacity units 40, 41, connected in series in the lamination direction of the internal electrodes, and having external terminals formed on the side face of a variable capacity device body. The axes of the variable capacity units 40, 41 are arranged in parallel. Current flow through adjacent variable capacity units in reverse directions.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method capable of manufacturing a capacitor built-in substrate of mounting a capacitor element having intended capacity on a predetermined position of an insulating base material despite a simple method.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method according to a present embodiment comprises: an element sheet manufacturing process; a bonding process; an etching process; and a lamination process. The element sheet manufacturing process comprises the steps of: forming a dielectric layer 13 by using a metal foil 50 on a predetermined region 54 in the metal foil 50, which is to be a first electrode layer of a capacitor element by a powder spray coating method; and subsequently, forming a metal layer which is to be a second electrode layer of the capacitor element on the dielectric layer 13 to manufacture an element sheet having element parts. The bonding process includes a step of bonding the element sheet on an insulating base material. The etching process includes a step of forming a capacitor element composed of the element part of the element sheet on the insulating base material by etching the metal foil 50. The lamination process includes a step of laminating on the insulating base material, another insulating base material.
