摘要： A regular edition video of a video title is split into shots or scenes with time codes, and provided information, which is the semantic evaluation of the story, is added to the respective scenes to organize the scene score. Necessary scenes for each purpose are extracted on the basis of the scene score and a threshold value (process Pr14). Video characteristic evaluation information is added for each shot constituting each of the extracted scenes so as to organize the shot score (process Pr16). Optimum shots for each of the extracted scenes are selected on the basis of a predetermined rule suitable for the purpose (process Pr16). The detecting pulse from the device 8 which becomes stable and highly accurate at the time of normal operation is impressed upon similar servo controlling circuits 31 and 32 for disks 23 and 24 to be used for dubbing the disk 1 and so forth, as reference clocks and the disks 23 and 24 are accurately controlled in rotational phase synchronously to the disk 1. With this constitution which does not need any circuits for synchronizing, the circuit of a rotation controlling system in a device equipped with plural disks can be simplified.

CONSTITUTION: The control program signal taken out of a control program generator 15 is modulated by a modulator 19 in a self-clockable modulating system such as an FM (frequency modulation biphase space modulation) system. This modulated signal is limited to a sound signal band by an LPF20 and at the same time delayed by about 1H to be turned into a waveform of almost a sine wave. For the output signal of the LPF20, the phase of its peak value corresponds approximately to the phase of a horizontal synchronizing signal. Therefore, the data can be demodulated with use of the reproduction output of the horizontal synchronizing signal without reproducing a clock component out of the horizontal synchronizing signal.
