    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk recording device which can suppress the quantity of servo error and which can perform recording by the maximum recording speed prescribed in a device or a disk type recording medium at the last zone even if the disk type recording medium is in an unsatisfactory state. SOLUTION: Eccentricity quantity is measured by a wobbling and eccentricity quantity measuring circuit 115 in an arbitrary position in starting a disk. A CPU 101 obtains the number of maximum rotation in accordance with the measurement result, divides a zone so that rotation-driving is not performed exceeding the number of the maximum rotation, decides the maximum recording speed for each zone out of the recording speeds which is prescribed in the device and which the disk type recording medium can deal with, sets a zone CLV table, and stores the table in a RAM 102. After that, recording speed is switched for each zone conforming to the zone CLV table which is set on the basis of the number of the maximum rotation in accordance with his eccentricity quantity.
