    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that since floating quantity of a head element part becomes the lowest in a magnetic head slider controlling floating quantity of the head element part due to thermal expansion by heating of a heater, the head element part is contacted to the magnetic disk, vibration of the slider is excited by friction force caused during contact, wear and damage are caused sometimes.
      SOLUTION: A floating plane 6 of a magnetic head slider 1 is composed of a deep groove 8, a shallow groove rail 10 being higher than the deep groove 8 by approximately 100 nm and a rear end step 12, two flow-in pads 14 being higher than the deep groove 8 by approximately 1 μm, a flow-out pad 16 being higher than the deep groove 8 by approximately 970 to 995 nm, and an element pad 18 being higher than the flow-out pad 16 by approximately 5 to 30 nm and being same height as the flow-in pad 14. A magnetic head element 20 and a heater 26 are arranged at a head element part 4. Area of a element pad 18 is 50 to 500 μm
      2 , and the magnetic head element 20 is arranged at near the center.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording disk drive apparatus which can contribute largely to suppression of disturbance of an air stream and ramp member which is useful largely for realizing such recording disk drive apparatus.
      SOLUTION: The recording disk drive apparatus 11 is connected to a supporting shaft 23 freely rotatably and is provided with a head actuator 21 supporting a head slider 26 at a tip. A flow straightening plate 42 prescribes an edge 44 on a circular arc 45 plotted with an equal distance from the supporting shaft 23. The flow straightening plate 42 is arranged at the outside of a circular arc 43 plotted at a tip of the head actuator 21. Thus, the flow straightening plate 42 is arranged at a down stream of the head slider 26. Thus, distance between the flow straightening plate 42 and the head slider 26 is held constant independently of a position of the head slider 26. Disturbance of an air stream can be suppressed surely at the down stream of the head slider 26 during rotation of a recording disk 13.

A stabilizer 74 is installed in order to stabilize the rotation of the disk 1, while a center core pressing mechanism 70 securely fits the core 3 in a spindle 92 with the positioning accuracy by means of a pressing member 79. The stabilizer 74 is supported with a lever 76 which supports commonly the member 79, thereby attaining the unit assembly of these parts. When they are fitted to a device main body, for instance, a frame 71, the magnetic disk which is subjected to the head touch adjustment at the device main body side can be assembled to a loading device side as it is. Moreover the accuracy of the center core pressing position can be improved, and the increase in motor load can be prevented.
