    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a program which efficiently estimates the processing time required for execution of software developed for a multiprocessor.SOLUTION: A cross-compiling unit classifies and generates instruction strings for a target machine from a source code per fundamental block. A processing time calculation unit calculates, per fundamental block, processing times required for processing to be executed in a target processor, on the basis of instruction strings in respective fundamental blocks. A source code conversion unit inserts a first code which adds the processing time calculated by the processing time calculation unit to the cumulative processing time of execution threads, to the source code with respect to each fundamental block. The source code conversion unit inserts a second code which calculates a processing time required for memory access by executing scheduling and adds the processing time to the cumulative processing time of execution threads, to the source code.
