      SOLUTION: A paper ejecting unit 40 consists of a paper ejecting guide 50 that is used to guide ejection of a recording paper P on which a prescribed image is fixed and a carrier vapor collecting case 60 which is arranged to surround the paper ejecting guide 50 and is used to collect carrier vapor generated from the recording paper P transported along the paper ejecting guide 50. The carrier cleaner includes a paper ejecting unit 40 having the carrier vapor collecting case 60 that is used to guide ejection of the recording paper P on which the prescribed image is formed and is used to collect vapor being evaporated from the ejected recording paper, a fan 80 which is used to eject carrier vapor collected by the carrier vapor collecting case 60 to a prescribed direction and a catalyst unit 90 which is used to conduct an oxidation process of carrier vapor ejected by the fan 80.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the purity of the recovered liquid carrier and make the print image quality more satisfactorily by receiving the liquid carrier separated from water from a carrier storage tank, mixing it with an inflow concentrated ink to form a liquid developer. A condensation storage tank 320 stores the water and the liquid carrier. A water and carrier separating means mutually separates a liquid carrier C and water W, and delivers them to different passages. A developer mixing tank 700 mixes the liquid carrier carried from the carrier storage tank 400 in the state separated from water with the concentrated ink from an ink storage tank 430 to form a liquid developer, and supplies it to the development apparatus of a developing unit 200.
