SOLUTION: The miniature high-power laser diode device includes a base 21, a laser chip 22, an optical fiber guider 23, and an optical fiber 25. The base has a groove 211 and a disposing area 212, and the groove connects to the disposing area. The laser chip is disposed on the disposing area, and the optical fiber guider is disposed at the groove. The optical fiber is disposed in and through the optical fiber guider. The optical fiber has a first end 251 connected to the laser chip. As a result of the cooperation between the optical fiber guider and the groove, the orientation of the optical fiber is simple and precise.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device having high weatherability and excellent in reliability. SOLUTION: A lens plate 1 made of a resin has semi-columnar protruded parts 3 and 4 formed to the outer peripheral part thereof and, when the lens plates made of the resin are superposed one upon another, they are fixed so that the side surfaces of the semi-columnar protruded parts 3 of both lens sheets come into contact with each other between two semi-columnar protruded parts 3 and 4 to mutually align minute convex lenses 2. The surfaces of the semi-columnar protruded parts 3 and 4 are coated with light absorbent coating and this light absorbent coating is irradiated with light to generate heat. This heat is transmitted to the semi-columnar protruded parts 3 and 4 on the side coated with the light absorbent coating and the semi-columnar protruded parts 4 and 3 of the separate lens plate 1 made of the resin being in contact with them to melt the resins of both semi-columnar protruded parts to mutually melt and fix the lens plates made of the resin. SOLUTION: This device for actively matching and coupling separate optical elements consisting of a light emitting element and a light receiving element is equipped with: a first matching means having a comparatively low optical resolution stage composed so as to perform rough matching of the light emitting element in search of approximated position of the highest strength position; and a second matching means having a comparatively high optical resolution stage composed so as to perform fine matching of the light emitting element in search of more accurate position of that highest strength position. Thus, rough matching can be performed using a multimode fiber. Also, fine matching can be performed using a single mode fiber capable of coupling the light emitting element.
