SOLUTION: The specimen transfer jug comprises the jug body having at least an almost circular opening and storing the specimen liquid inside, and a cartridge having a hole communicating with the opening and housing the jug body. The opening of the jug body is sealed with an inner rubber lid and an outer rubber lid. The inner rubber lid has a cylindrical part whose diameter is slightly larger than the inner diameter of the opening, and a flange in contact with the upper edge of the opening. The outer rubber lid has a flat part covering the upper face and flange of the inner rubber lid, and a drooping part covering the outer circumference of the opening of the jug body. The jug body is closed with the inner rubber lid, and further with the outer rubber lid to be closed airtightly with a double sealing structure, so that a leakage of the specimen liquid out of the jug body during the pneumatic transfer of the liquid can be prevented completely.
