    • PURPOSE:To improve detection precision and to shorten detection time by sticking powder, which adsorbs a substance changing in color by reacting on gas (or liquid) to a transparent tape, and making a detection part extremely thin. CONSTITUTION:To one side of a transparent tape 1, powder 2 which adsorbs a substance changing in color by reacting on gas (or liquid) is stuck by using resin 3 having good air-permeability, thus constituting a detection part 4. Then, the said detection part 4 is provided at the center part of the transparent tape 1 lengthwise at need, and cohesive layers 5 are provided at both its sides. The cohesive layers 5 adhere an invented leakage detection tape to an inspected surface fixedly. Consequently, the thickness of the detection part is reduced extremely as compared with conventional paper, cloth, etc., and the improvement of detection precision and the shortening of detection time are achieved.
