    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas flow rate detector that can discriminate an operational state of a predetermined gas appliance and calculate a total gas used amount of the predetermined gas appliance.SOLUTION: A gas flow rate detector comprises a flow rate acquiring unit 1 and a controller 2. The controller 2 determines, on the basis of a gas flow rate acquired by the flow rate acquiring unit 1, whether or not a gas used flow rate of a fuel cell system 20 can be acquired at second period intervals. When the gas used flow rate of the fuel cell system 20 is determined to be capable of being acquired, on the basis of an amount of change in the gas flow rate acquired by the flow rate acquiring unit 1 and a gas used flow rate of the fuel cell system 20 updated immediately before, the controller 2 calculates a total gas used flow rate of the fuel cell system 20 and, when the gas used flow rate of the fuel cell system 20 is determined to not be capable of being acquired, defines the gas used flow rate of the fuel cell system 20 updated immediately before as a gas used flow rate during a period when the gas used flow rate of the fuel cell system 20 cannot be acquired.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impeller type flow meter in which replacement of only a sensor part is allowed, and preferably, the position of an indicator with respect to a housing may be changed or fixed.
      SOLUTION: The housing 4 includes a flow passage 26 where an impeller 5 is rotatably held and a sensor attachment hole 38 in the vicinity of an outer circumferential part of the impeller 5 and not communicating with the flow passage 26. A sensor holder 6 having the sensor 9 detecting the rotation of the impeller 5 is detachably fitted into the sensor attachment hole 38. An outer surface of a base end part 39 of the sensor holder 6 is formed on a circumferential surface. An indicator 3 is held by the base end part 39 of the sensor holder 6 so as to be rotatable around the circumferential surface. The indicator 3 calculates and indicates a flow rate on the basis of a detection signal from the sensor 9. The indicator 3 is positioned with respect to the housing 4 by inserting a fixing screw 70 with hexagon socket.

A reed switch 20 is turned on when a permanent magnet 19 is pushed and the liquid crystal display is changed over from integration display to instantaneous flow-rate display.
